Game Overview
★ Adventure Stage: “Lumiose City” The adventure unfolds in Lumiose City, a major city in the Kalos region that also appeared in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. To achieve coexistence between humans and Pokémon, the city is promoting an urban redevelopment plan. In the “Wild Area,” developed using the latest technology, many wild Pokémon reside. When visiting Lumiose City, the protagonist can choose one of three Pokémon—Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile—as a partner and take on various events and activities in the city together with their companion.
★ Challenge the “ZA Battle Tower” at Night At night, the city features a “Battle Zone” surrounded by advanced red holographic projections. The “ZA Battle Tower” is held daily in this area, where trainers battle using Pokémon from sunset to dawn. Participants are assigned levels from Z to A, starting at level Z. Reaching level A grants the title of the strongest, honor, and the chance to have one wish fulfilled.
★ Series-First Real-Time Battles with Pokémon and Trainers In battles, Pokémon move alongside their trainers and execute moves according to the trainer’s commands. Beyond type advantages, new game elements such as timing for switching Pokémon, selecting moves, move range, and move speed are introduced, providing an unprecedented Pokémon battle experience.
